Deprt56 Christmas Vacation Gone
Department 56, the Original Snow Village Collection with National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation's "Gone..."
This is from the scene where the Griswold's are chasing/being chased by a squirrel trying to get it out of the house. Snots the dog is chasing the squirrel leaving the house in ruin behind him. Margo marches over to give Clark a piece of her mind and knocks on the door. In the same instant Clark opens the door so the squirrel can run out and the squirrel launces at Margo landing on her chest. The squirrel is directly followed by Snots the dog and in one fluid motion Clark slams the door shut saying "Gone!"

Using On Board Pixel Ports on the Falcon F48v4
Переглядів 19128 днів тому
A big difference between the Falcon F48v3 and v4 is the addition of 4 onboard pixel output ports on the F48 board itself. It does have a catch those that the 4 pixel ports are mirrored on the last differential port. Falcon F48v4 pixel controller Falcon SRx1 smart receiver board

Well explained, thanks for the video. One question. As you stated, you did that in a safe way without endangering your lights so there really was no risk to implementing this same testing strategy with all the pixels at once, so why bother? Unless biasing these backwards would blow them given the voltages used. Is there an advantage to using 2, rather than just 1? Having 2 allows you to observe the data being passed along, but assuming you are feeding the data in the correct side, it should light a single one also. Regardless, the pixels can be salvaged for spares/replacement down the road, so it's no loss either way.

The fact that you spend the whole year preparing the show shows how much effort you put into it and it shows!!! I been watching your show since 2012! ¿Also just curious… how better are these compared to the old school pixels from the early 2010s???

These are actually knock off pebble pixels. There proper name is 'seed pixels'. Pebble pixels are much sturdier than bullet pixels, seed pixels (shown here) are weak.

if you know what network your pc is set up for, why not just set the ethernet address to the 10.0.0.x network on the f48 initially, that way your pc is on the same network and you can just set up the wifi in the controller.

Your use of the ammo box is different than mine but it all serves a great purpose of customizing our setups. Are you still using LOR for programming or did you go to XLights??

The fuse input does connect to the F16v5 so that you can establish two way communication and reset fuses, look at real time amps and volts on the web base interface. I see this to be a nice improvement for the smart receivers. The next F16v5 revision of this board resolves the issue of polarity.
